I was born in Denmark and grew up surrounded by art. For many years, sculpting was my passion, but it wasn’t until our first big lockdown that I discovered the joy of creating abstract paintings.

As an emotional and intuitive artist, I am drawn to gestural mark-making, mixed media, and the unexpected beauty that emerges when I take risks. Painting feels like solving a puzzle—there’s a struggle in the middle, layers upon layers building a history, and a deep satisfaction when everything finally comes together.

Lately, my work has been shaped by fragments of memories from my childhood and teenage years, often carrying a personal story within each piece.

I am represented by Railway Street Gallery + Studio in Auckland and GalleriOS in Denmark.
